Sablemark Ltd. is the data controller. This is a business-to-business operation, so most of what we hold is company information — but some of it identifies people, and this page covers that.
Contract specifications, drawings, fill weights and tooling records belong to the customer who commissioned them. They are not shown to other customers, used in our own range, or referenced in marketing. Tooling is held for three years after the last order and then scrapped or returned, as the customer prefers. This is a contractual obligation as well as a data one.
Contract for accounts and orders. Legal obligation for the tax and CITES records — the latter we are required to keep and cannot delete on request. Legitimate interest for enquiries, visitor records and credit checks on new accounts.
Our accountant, our carrier (delivery details only), our bank, and a credit reference agency when a new account applies for terms — which we tell applicants at the time. Nothing is shared with anyone for marketing, and we do not sell or rent any list.
No analytics, no advertising tags, no third-party scripts of any kind. The site sets nothing beyond what is required to serve the page.
Access, correction, deletion where no legal duty requires retention, restriction, objection and portability. Write to works@sablemark.example and we will answer within one calendar month. Complaints can be taken to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk; we would ask you to raise it with us first.
Material changes are notified to account holders by email before they take effect, not simply posted here.
